hans mellendijk and herman ter beek were invited to partipate in the show by michel cardena, their teacher at the aki, art academy in enschede. 'the plan' consisted of a video registration of their train journey from enschede to the in-out center in amsterdam, and the announcement of this project which was executed on december 15 1972. this letter was pinned to the wall at the start of the exhibition to introduce 'the plan'.
